With a total of 7 pools, 2 bars, 2 restaurants, health spa, gym, tennis court, evening entertainment and kids club the resort is ideal for couple and families. There are a number of restaurants, pubs and shops within 5 minutes walk and the town centre is a 15 minute stroll along the beach. There is a golf course which is 5 minutes drive and excellent wind surfing in the sea. The resort is a 20 minute taxi ride from the airport or car hire is relatively inexpensive, you can see most of the island in 2 days. The Timanfaya National Park with its many volcanoes is a must see as is the marina at Peurto Calero. Other visitor attractiond include Mirandor Del Rio, Jardin de Cactus and the Ceasar Manrique  Foundation.
